Deputy Health Minister Raisa Moiseyenko told a briefing that the problem of vaccine purchase had been solved, ForUm's correspondent reports.

"This year the country is provided with 100% of vaccines for prevention such dangerous infections as diphtheria, tuberculoses, poliomyelitis," she said. Moiseyenko reminded that the state budget allocates 237 million UAH for vaccine purchase, which covers only 60% of needs. "On June the Cabinet allocated additional 35 million to provide 100% coverage," the deputy minister informed.

Moiseyenko also informed that the government received a vaccine against tuberculoses as a humanitarian aid. She assured the vaccine had been tested and approved. "Now the vaccine is being delivered to regions. The next week maternity hospitals will start vaccination," the deputy minister summed up.
