Energy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Boiko told journalists that the gas negotiations with Russia are on schedule, ForUm's correspondent reported.
According to him, the strategic partnership with Russia develops within the agreements reached by Ukraine's president with the president and government of Russia.
At the same time Boiko declared that Ukraine cannot use the fact of examination of Gazprom offices by EU anti-monopoly bodies for strengthening Ukraine's position in the negotiations. "We cannot comment on relations between European Commission and Russia. It's their business," Boiko said.
In response to the question whether the gas talks include details of gas consortium, the Energy Minister stated "the matter concerns wide range of directions, earlier discussed by Ukraine's president."
