"Some days ago officials of our embassy in Libya visited detained Ukrainians and made sure they are kept in normal conditions. The main group of the detainees has been transferred to a former town of a foreign construction company," Dykusarov informed.
According to him, Ukrainians live in comfortable conditions in rooms for two-three people with air conditions. "The detainees have access to TV and can freely move around the town. They also had a possibility to call their relatives," Dykusarov told.
He also noted that the situation with detained Ukrainians depends on stability in Libya. "We are sure that new government will be formed soon in Libya and the question of detained Ukrainians will be solved," Dykusarov said.
The FM spokesman also underlined that the situation is under personal control of Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryshchenko.
