The Presidents of Ukraine and Russia will discuss first of all cooperation in high technology sphere, not the gas price, Ukraine's ambassador to Russia Volodymyr Yelchenko told the press.
He noted that some mass media accelerate tension around Yanukovych's visit to Russia to get a sensation.
"I am sure there will be no sensation, because Ukraine's membership in Customs Union and gas price are not the only issues of bilateral relations," the ambassador said.
Yelchenko informed that the strategic partnership envisage development of relations in the spheres of space, aviation, ship building, agriculture, and all these issues are on the agenda of the meeting of two presidents.
He noted that against the background of these complicated issues the gas price is secondary.
"I am surprise that everybody speaks only about gas issue, while many other strategic issues need attention," Yelchenko said.
"Ukraine and Russia believe that the gas price is not the key issue in development of the bilateral relations," Yelchenko summed up.
