UEFA President Michel Platini says he believes that Ukraine and Poland have coped with their preparations for the EURO 2012 European Football Championship.

"From the very beginning the organization of EURO 2012 has been a real test for Poland and Ukraine, and they have certainly coped with this test. Progress is evident. Earlier, these countries have never hosted a tournament of such a scale, therefore, we helped them in every way. We are very happy and hope that everything will be fine in 2012," he said at a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee in Limassol, Cyprus, UKRINFORM reported.

EURO 2012 will be the 14th European Football Championship, a football tournament between European national teams held every four years under the auspices of UEFA.
