In particular, advertising is prohibited on radio, TV, online, mobile, billboards and in transport. Commercial of cigarettes in the places of mass events is also prohibited.
Prohibition also concerns actions on free distribution of cigarettes within marketing research or taste tests, including bonuses, lotteries, contests or events directly associated with tobacco goods. Selling of tobacco goods together with other products or services is also prohibited.
"Commercial of cigarettes will be allowed only in specialized editions of tobacco industry or at special exhibition, held exclusively for producers or wholesale buyers," the explanatory note to the law says.
Authors of the draft bill are a group of 13 MPs, including pro-presidential and opposition members.
