
At the Forum of education ministers of the European countries Azarov underlined that Ukraine had already started a reform of high school, and next step is reformation of the regular school, ForUm's correspondent reports.
"National systems of education in Europe have their differences: studying programs, manuals, technologies, preparation of teachers...The agenda includes new issues: how to provide all children of Europe with equal possibilities of education, how to raise respect to other cultures and promote tolerance...We must teach children foreign languages to give a possibility to communicate and carry out a scientific search. It is unacceptable to draw them into political and nationalistic conflicts," Azarov said.
"In Ukraine we know this, as our history shows it," he added.
