
Speaking about opposition's perspective at the parliamentary elections 2012, the political scientist underlined that the participation of Yulia Tymoshenko would shoot down the idea of united opposition, as well participation of any candidate from the united opposition. "In case Tymoshenko takes part in the elections, we will have several oppositional forces, which will eliminate each other," he said.
As an example, Bondarenko cited the situation of 2001, when the attempt of creating united opposition resulted into either united opposition of Yulia Tymoshenko or no united opposition at all.
