Separate position of Ukraine's membership in the World Trade Organization will revised, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at a meeting with Employers Union, ForUm's correspondent reported.

According to Azarov, the revision will not be total, but there are some positions, obviously needed reconsideration. "For these three years we have learned to use all WTO instruments, including tariff protection stakes, antidumping measures, subsidies, import limiting, worsening of pay balance," the PM said.

Azarov underline that the practice of revising conditions of WTO membership is common among countries-members. In particular, according to him, in 2009-2011 36 countries have resorted to such practice.

The Premier informed that the Economy Ministry is preparing a draft proposition on revision of positions of Ukraine's membership in WTO, and called employers-businessmen to bring in their suggestions on this question.

Azarov also stated that the government would not promote openly protectionistic propositions. "It is very important we keep the balance between our interests and interests of other countries, we concluded the agreement with. That's why we are not going to be engaged into open favoritism," Azarov summed up.
