The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the draft resolution on changing the order of computation of time in the territory of Ukraine, ForUm's correspondent reported. 266 MPs have supported the decision.
The given draft resolution provides for establishing from March 27, 2011 the second time zone in the territory of Ukraine with one hour added. Hence, the resolution cancels annual time conversion from winter to summer time.
As reported earlier, the MPs believe that annual time conversion from winter to summer time "causes time stress and has a negative impact on the psychological and physical conditions of people, which results in greater loss than an insignificant energy saving."
