Ivan Kyrylenko, leader of the BYuT parliamentary faction called upon faction leaders to sign a letter-demand to the court with a request to free Yulia Tymoshenko and Yuri Lutsenko.
"As before, I have to begin with the fact that the faction's work is completely conditioned by events in Pechersky Court. That is why this would affect the faction's participation in the plenary sitting," Leader of the BYT-Batkivschyna Party Ivan Kyrylenko said.

He stressed that despite the break in the hearing until September 27, the deputies are on duty near Pechersky District Court expecting "any kind of development of events."

"In connection with this, we call upon our colleagues, factions leaders,  to sign a letter to the presiding judges with a request to release Tymoshenko and Lutsenko from custody with a travel ban. There is no reason for keeping them, as no one is going to leave the country. Give these people an opportunity to undergo treatment, as this situation has no common sense," Kyrylenko said.

The leader of the faction passed the letter to Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn and said that signatures of the leaders of other factions would be "a good and humane gesture."

Lytvyn, in turn, promised to pass the letter to the faction leaders. "I gave them time till 4 pm to sign this appeal," he told a briefing.
