The net assets of public investment funds in Ukraine were estimated at UAH 275.7 million in August 2011, which was 9.3% less than in July 2011, the Ukrainian Association of Investment Business (UAIB) said in a statement.
In terms of money, the net assets of public investment funds shrank by UAH 28.4 million. Thus, August 2011 has become the worst month for public investment funds.
"Dynamics in August remained downward and was much faster than in the previous two months - July (-UAH 460,000, -0.16%) and June (-UAH 2.33 million, -0.95%)," reads the statement, UKRINFORM rpeorted.
Five of the 39 public investment funds have shown a positive trend, as the cumulative increase in their net asset value amounted to UAH 850,000.
