David Haye is making an audacious attempt to lure Vitali Klitschko into the boxing ring, despite the fact that Vitali's younger brother Wladimir comprehensively beat Haye in July.

Vitali is considered the better of the Klitschko brothers - he is certainly the bigger - and would be a very short priced favourites should he and Haye ever meet in the ring. However, Haye seems unperturbed by that fact and has 'called out' Vitali in the German press, Boxing Betting News reported.

Speaking to Die Welt newspaper, Haye blasted: "I'll knock him out, I'll smash his jaw. Vitali, I'll fight you, if you are man enough."

"It doesn't matter to me where I fight you, I'll fight you on the moon," added Haye.

Quite whether Vitali Klitschko would be interested in such a fight is another matter. That said, his most recent defence of his WBC heavyweight title over the weekend was a totally one-sided affair in which he beat Polish no-hoper Tomasz Adamek, and a fight against Haye would certainly generate more money than he usually gets for fighting the 'bum of the month'.
