Russian ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov admitted that Russian calculations of gas price formula for Ukraine could be inaccurate, as he said in an interview with RBK-Ukraine.
At the same time he assumed that Ukrainian calculations, according to which Ukraine pays 200 dollars more than other European countries, are also wrong.
"They believe that the gas price for Ukraine exceeds by 200 dollars the price for Germany and Italy. We admit that the calculations made by experts could have been inaccurate," Zurabov said.
The ambassador called to consider all the arguments before appealing the gas contracts in court.
"You should understand that consideration of this issue in court may result not in favor of the Ukrainian applicant, and that the Ukrainian side would not have sufficient grounds to revise the contracts," he noted.
