Party of Regions MP, deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on guarantee of law enforcement activity Volodymyr Oliynyk believes that a statement of Tymoshenko's lawyer regarding postponing of court hearings is nothing but an attempt to discredit the court, besides groundless.
"The position of the defense is totally illogical. Now they don't have enough time to consider materials, then they have too much. I ma surprised with such inconsequence in declarations of Tymoshenko's lawyers," the politician noted.
"It is an exclusive right of the judge to determine the order of court hearings, regulated by the current legislation. May be the judge needs time to prepare for other case," Oliynyk said.
"Two weeks is not an anomaly, but a juridical norm. The time is given for preparation to the debates, not for a show and groundless statements," the MP summed up.
