The Ukrainian authorities have announced a long break in the case of ex-premier Yulia Tymoshenko to see the reaction of the international community at the coming summits, Prime Minister of the opposition government, BYuT-Batkivshchyna MP Serhiy Sobolev, has said commenting on the postponement of hearing in the case of Tymoshenko for September 27.

According to Sobolev, "over the months of the process this is actually the first defeat of the authorities, which is frightened by pressures both domestically, and outside, especially on the eve of important international summits".

"I think that with such a baggage, with the arrested party leaders, which won in previous elections, it is impossible to go to the summit of Eastern Partnership. Therefore, these two weeks - this is the best time not even for our team, but for their team to think about how to find a way out from this process," Sobolev emphasized.
