Tymoshenko: Judge ordered to bring in guilty verdict on September 15-16
Batkivshchyna Party leader and former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko claims that the defense has information that Judge Rodion Kireyev has been instructed to hand down a guilty verdict on September 15 or 16.

“There is a very clear time frame. Judge, I would like to inform you that we too work, so to speak, with the Presidential Administration, the prosecutor’s office and everyone else. We are given very clear information. I would like to inform you that we were told that you’ve been instructed to ignore all evidence and announce a guilty verdict on September 15-16,” Yulia Tymoshenko said today in court, according to her official website.

Yulia Tymoshenko also said that there are plans to increase police presence around the Pechersk District Court on those days. “We received information that they’re calling in Berkut police officers from Kyiv and other regions on September 15-16 in order to announce the verdict,” said the ex-premier.

The judge, in turn, remarked to Tymoshenko that such statements were improper and said she should follow the example of yesterday's court session.

"Yesterday everything was so good - nobody spoke disrespectfully," Kireyev said.

Tymoshenko, in turn, retorted: "There has never been anything good in this trial."

She also said she was indignant that the parties in the judicial process had not listened to her lawyers.

"The prosecutors were yawning," she said.
