The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov assures that Ukraine will fulfil all its obligations to the European Union countries concerning transportation the Russian natural gas.

"Yesterday I declared that we considered gas contracts with Russia enslaving and unprofitable. But we will provide full-scale transportations of gas to Europe," he said during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic Mikolas Dzurinda.

The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine understood the responsibility before the European Union and would not admit any failures in gas supply. "We, undoubtedly, shall carry out the contract and at the same time persistently to conduct negotiations with our Russian partners," Azarov emphasized.

Thus the Prime Minister said that Ukraine counts on participation of the European Union in processes regarding reorganization of "Naftogas" and creation of the Ukrainian gas exploration and production company.
