Prime Minister Mykola Azarov considers dollar a weak currency, as he said during his lecture in the Kyiv national University.
"If everything happens as we plan, then in 10 years people will hunt after hryvnia, not dollar, the more especially as dollar is a weak currency," Azarov said.
The Premier underlined that for the development of economy it is necessary to think about stability of national currency. "Do we have opportunities for this? Of course yes. We spend currency charily and keep currency reserve at proper level," he added.
Azarov also pointed out that the government indends to continue the policy of stabilization of national currency.
