Government’s main priority is to improve people's lives, President Viktor Yanukovych told journalists while on a working visit to the Kherson region. "The main purpose of everything we do is to improve people's lives. Combating poverty is the top-priority policy, " Viktor Yanukovych said.
The President has expressed the belief that government’s priority is to improve the living standards to vulnerable groups, create new jobs. "The first thing we must do is to improve the lives of poor people, to give jobs to the young so they could provide for their families. Create conditions for everyone able to work. Make sure that the people have the motivation to work and always get a decent wage," he said.
"Fair policy should be based on the priorities I am constantly speaking about," Viktor Yanukovych said.
