For UEFA EURO 2012, thanks to private investments, about 70 hotels have been constructed in Ukraine, Vice Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov has said at a business forum Ukrainian Meetings 2011 in Paris, UKRINFORM reported.
In the nearest time, according to him, four international airports will be commissioned.
Kolesnikov confessed that "it was very difficult to be engaged in preparation of the European Championship in the country having not a sufficient number of high-class hotels."
The road economy was named as an unsolved problem by the Premier. "We will try to solve this block of problems, possibly, with attraction of foreign partners," Kolesnikov underscored. "Today, within the frames of the forum a meeting will be held with representatives of French companies, engaged in the road construction."
