Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko has said that her parliamentary team at the next plenary week will submit to the Verkhovna Rada a package of draft laws for anti-crisis measures in the socio-economic sphere.

"At the next session week our team will offer the country a logical and effective package of anti-crisis laws. We believe that an economic and social crisis is developing in our country as a result of corruption, unprofessional management, and the fact that the ruling government sees Ukraine as an opportunity to earn shadow revenues, not an obligation to serve the country and its people," Yulia Tymoshenko said at a briefing today in the Verkhovna Rada.

"We will continue our work, which will focus on society in this difficult situation. We will provide solutions that people will understand. But if the current government doesn’t accept our proposals, doesn’t take them into account, then this responsibility will continue to fall on Yanukovych, and he alone, unfortunately, can’t handle the responsibilities of a president neither intellectually, nor organizationally or morally," she added.
