President Viktor Yanukovych is certain that it is important to create conditions for the development of automobile industry in our state, he said to the media during his today’s visit to JSC “Eurocar” in Zakarpattya region.
Currently, the President noted, the appropriate conditions "have not yet been created”. "We must work out a new legislative framework, and make sure that the ne existing is carried out," he added.
Viktor Yanukovych said that he had already instructed the creation of a working group on the issue, composed of automotive industry experts and government representatives. "We will elaborate practically all the necessary directions at the local and central government level," he said.
The President praised the work of JSC “Eurocar”. "I am satisfied that there are jobs created here, wages are paid stably,” he said.
"I am sure that JSC ‘Eurocar’ is a vivid example of hard work, an example of opportunities that exist in Ukraine," he said.
According to Viktor Yanukovych, one of the problems the company is facing is the problem of VAT refunds. "The problem of VAT is being solved already... It will be refunded on time," he said.
The President said there is active work going on to improve
regulatory policy. "We have set the objective to improve regulatory
policy, actually remove barriers to the development of business in our
state, create the conditions for investors. This is the direction
Ukraine will be going in in the nearest future. It is the path of
reforms that create conditions for the development of the economy and
different directions of the country’s life," he said.
