580,000 tickets were sold for the European Football Championship 2012, 41% of their total number, Director of the tournament Markiyan Lubkivsky told a press conference, dedicated to 400 days to the beginning of the championship.

"41% of total tickets (1.4 million) were proposed for sale. In other words, 580,000 tickets found their owners. About 80% of all tickets were purchased by Ukrainians and Poles," Lubkivsky explained, UKRINFORM reported. Following the final drawing on December 2, 2011, it will become known how many tickets will get Ukrainians, Poles, as well as fans from other countries.

As Head of the Local Organizing Committee noted, UEFA knows that a great number of Poles are planning to visit matches in Lviv, and Russians - in Kharkiv and Donetsk.
