In 2012 Ukraine will complete the process of building the infrastructure necessary for hosting Euro 2012, President Viktor Yanukovych said, talking to veterans at the Ukrainian Public Medical and Social Center in the village of Tsybli, Kyiv.
He expressed the belief that the facilities being built in the preparation for Euro 2012 will serve next generations.
The President added that holding Euro 2012 in Ukraine decently will definitely have a positive influence on our image in the world and will allow to continue "taking a serious position" in such areas as conducting large-scale sporting events.
"We look into the future with great hope and believe in ourselves," Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
