Ukraine and Azerbaijan have agreed on joint 50/50 implementation of investment projects, President Viktor Yanukovych said at a press conference with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan
"We plan to jointly implement these projects jointly. This means that it does not matter whose territory they will be realized. It will be the common property of our countries," Viktor Yanukovych said, adding that it is about " the highest level of confidence."
According to the President, the effectiveness of such joint projects will increase if the parties would work on their initial design, and then, on their practical implementation jointly.
President Yanukovych noted that today, Ukraine and Azerbaijan are discussing a number of projects related to scientific research, joint technological solutions, use of scientific and research base of both countries, etc.
"This is what we will be doing in the near future," Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
Speaking of the already being realized joint investment projects,
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan for his part said: "I am convinced
that soon their number would grow."
