"In 2011, reforms will cover almost all areas of life of the state," President Viktor Yanukovych said at expended negotiations with the EU delegation. 

Now, he said, the work on reforming the electoral law is going on. "This bill will be made available shortly for public discussion," Viktor Yanukovych said, adding that the preparation of this project involves representatives of all factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, international experts and NGOs. 

The project will surely be submitted to the Venice Commission for analysis and recommendations, he said. 

He also noted that certain steps have already been made to create the Constitutional Assembly, which will prepare a new draft Constitution of Ukraine. "This Assembly will be working closely with the Venice Commission," Viktor Yanukovych added. 

The work on improving the anti-corruption legislation continues, he said, reminding that the Parliament has already approved the Law on Prevention and Combating Corruption in Ukraine. 

"The administrative reform has entered its final stage, during which the number of officials at all levels will be reduced by 30-50%," he said. 

The President, moreover, drew attention to reforms in the area of permit system. "Of great importance are also pension and land reform, which have been already started by the Government," he said.
