Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko believes the authorities are
proposing changes to the election law that will allow them to falsify
the results of the parliamentary elections in their favor.
"They’re preparing a carbon copy of the law on local elections, which the international community recognized as fraudulent and not on par with international standards. I think they’re planning to do the same with the parliamentary elections," Yulia Tymoshenko told journalists today after leaving the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Yulia Tymoshenko believes plans to remove the option to vote "against all" limit the electoral rights of Ukrainian citizens. "I think they’re simply doing these things to divert attention. If someone wants to vote against all, this is their right and it’s wrong to take away this right," she added.
