The defense ministries of Ukraine and Russia will discuss the further use by Russian pilots of the NITKA ground-based carrier aviation training complex in Crimea (southern Ukraine).

The issue will be discussed in Moscow on March 25 at the fourth meeting of the security sub-committee of the Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission, which is chaired by Ukrainian and Russian Defense Ministers Mykhailo Yezhel and Anatoly Serdyukov, UKRINFORM reported.

The agenda of the meeting includes issues related to the activities of sub-commissions on cooperation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Russia, on military and technical cooperation, and on the functioning of the 31st test center located on Ukrainian territory.

In addition, the sides will discuss the use of the potential of Ukrainian industrial enterprises to dispose of the surplus ammunition, weapons and military hardware of the Russian Black Sea fleet, military training, as well as the drafting of an interstate agreement governing the issue of cooperation in the fight against piracy.
