According to Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov, during his meeting with President Viktor Yanukovych they have discussed Ukraine’s preparation for hosting EURO 2012 finals. 

"This task has many components, and each of them is currently trough hard planned work. All the directions of preparation for EURO 2012 are addressed," Borys Kolesnikov said, presidential press office reported. 

He also noted that "the only remaining issue is the staff that will be involved in the organization of EURO 2012 events." 

"We ask such cities as Lviv, Donetsk and Kharkiv to help in recruiting the staff to work on the stadiums, in airports. We also ask higher education facilities to form a high-quality management," he said. 

Another important question discussed at the meeting has been the quality of roads in the cities that will host EURO 2012. The President has instructed to provide practical assistance to Lviv, Kyiv, Donetsk and Kharkiv in bringing roads in good condition. 

Borys Kolesnikov has also informed that a consultative meeting will be held today at the Ministry of Finance, dedicated to the question of allocating funds in the second half of this year, "so that the cities hosting EURO 2012 met the tournament level.”
