President Viktor Yanukovych has visited the first national exhibition of children's art "The Country of Young Artists”, held at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth, presidential press office reported. 

The President has toured the exhibition and spoke to young artists and designers. 

Speaking to journalists after seeing the exhibition, President Yanukovych said: "The works I saw are very impressive. They prove that our country has a future. These are gifted children, talented youth, able to get to building a nice, strong country." 

Viktor Yanukovych praised the valuable contribution of teachers into the achievements of the young artists. "I know that everything you, you do because you have a great desire to do it, and great teachers, who teach you these wonderful arts and the ability to love your cause and your native land, " he said. 

According to the President, about 1,5 thousand public arts and crafts schools working in Ukraine are a great heritage, "a whole army of creative people, who are able to be leaders for young people. And that's great." 

He wished the young artists and inventors success, inspiration and, of course, further victories. Viktor Yanukovych noted that the current generation of young people has the desire to win. "I was really impressed with how many our children are the winners of international, national competitions... The ability to win, the habit to win... I saw this generation have it. So I wish you new victories," he said.
