President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych believes that one of the most important goals of the reforms is creating favorable conditions for attracting investments to Ukraine, he said in an interview with the reporters in Odessa, according to the presidential press office.
The President stressed that any country’s development is impossible without raising funds of both domestic and foreign investors. Without them, he said, it is impossible to implement the chosen innovative-investment model of development of Ukraine.
He reminded that Ukraine has huge raw-material resources, and the potential of development of their processing is actually "enormous".
Viktor Yanukovych noted that Ukraine is an attractive state for investment. But incentives for investors must be created, most important of which is the country's stability, transparency of its economy and effectiveness of its deregulation policy, which removes the bureaucratic barriers to investment.
"This is what we must do in the near future," the President summed up.
