Up to 50 fan embassies will be set up in host cities of the European Football Championship 2012, where fans will be able to get all necessary information about the tournament and the city, First Deputy Chairman of the State Service for Youth and Sports Serhiy Hlushchenko told in a commentary to information center Ukraine -2012 functioning at UKRINFORM.
"Fan embassies of the two types will be set up in each of four host cities: stationary and mobile. Their number will be different, up to 10 embassies in every city, in Kyiv there will be more such embassies - up to 20," he said.
According to Hlushchenko, stationary embassies in the form of tents will be located in the places of the largest gatherings of fans. From two to eight volunteers will be working there. In mobile embassies - two to three volunteers will move around the city in an automobile and consult tourists.
Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Lviv are determined by UEFA as host cities of the European Football Championship 2012 finals.
