Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko hopes the opposition and
popular resistance to the current Ukrainian government will strengthen,
but says there is no chance of uniting with false opposition parties.
"I am convinced that all the true opposition forces will be united, and those that continue to ruin Ukraine’s chance of being liberated from this government will continue to simulate an opposition, but in reality will work for the Party of Regions, just as they did before the second round of the presidential elections," Yulia Tymoshenko said, cited by her official website.
In her opinion, within a certain time every person understands which political party is defending their interests. "The technology ‘against all’ is well-financed by the government and they’re betting on its success in the future. That’s why we need to stop calling for all opposition parties to unite. It’s impossible to unite with departments of the Party of Regions that are code named ‘opposition’ because this is the same as uniting with the Party of Regions," she added.
Yulia Tymoshenko believes that all opposition parties that feel a sense of responsibility for the country and its people are currently working together. "They are already together, along with all the citizens of Ukraine that understand that the country is being humiliated and destroyed. These people are together with the opposition, public figures and intelligentsia," Yulia Tymoshenko said.
