And we hope our friends in Poland will play a role in that question and give us extra energy to address these issues," Viktor Yanukovych said.

In his speech President Yanukovych stressed that Euro 2012 will give a new impetus to economic and social development of Ukraine and Poland. "As to economic changes, we will become more open, innovative and competitive. We introduce the advanced technologies and better management experience. As to social change, we are going to Europe "not by words, but by the deeds" and approach it in infrastructural, humanitarian and value terms," Viktor Yanukovych said.

President Yanukovych thanked the Victor Pinchuk Foundation for the traditional organization of Ukrainian lunch conferences in the framework of the World Economic Forum.

"Our strategic direction of economic policy is radical restructuring of the economy through the systemic, innovative and targeted reforms," he said.

Ukraine has almost all the condition for doing successful business in it: skilled labor force, excellent geographical location, and natural resources. He invited the foreign businessmen to invest in Ukraine.

“Euro 2012 is another powerful incentive for investors to come to Ukraine. We are actively preparing for this important sporting event. And believe me, if we promise something - we do it ... There is a lot of work being done in all areas in strict accordance with the timeframes and our commitments," he said.

He noted that new roads, railways, hotels and airports are "business arteries”. Their updating and expansion is accelerating the movement of people, goods and capitals. And this means higher profits for all, who do business in Ukraine.

"I am extremely pleased that we build this new "circulatory system" together with our western neighbors Poland. It is often said that you don’t choose your neighbors. But I am very happy that we have such a neighbor and reliable partner, " Viktor Yanukovych said.

"I am convinced that together with our Polish partners, we will create the best conditions for the grand festival of European football and come to the finish line victoriously," President Yanukovych said.
