During his trip to Davos to take part in the World Econpmic Forum President Viktor Yanukovych held a meeting with President of the Confederation of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey. The President of Ukraine said that the meeting is a good opportunity to discuss several issues of mutual interest for Ukraine and Switzerland. 

"We have a lot in common. Ukraine and Switzerland are neutral countries," Viktor Yanukovych said. 

The President also welcomed the signature of a Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and the European Free Trade Association, comprising Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein on June 24, 2010. 

He, moreover, reminded that Switzerland is a donor to the Chernobyl Shelter Fund. 

"I hope we will only intensify all of these directions of cooperation, and add dynamism to our relations," Viktor Yanukovych stressed, presidential press office reported. 

President Yanukovych has also invited President Micheline Calmy-Rey to visit Ukraine in April to take part in the International Conference "25 years since the Chornobyl disaster. Security of the future. 

Yanukovych also had a meeting with the Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment of the UK.

President Yanukovych said that the UK is a reliable and important partner for Ukraine. He also said that our country is happy about the revival of Ukrainian-British cooperation.

For his part, Prince Andrew noted the substantial interest of British companies in investing in Ukraine, particularly in agriculture.
