Before the year end, trains Kyiv-Moscow and Moscow-Kyiv will proceed without stops on the border, First Deputy Chairman of the State Border Guard Service Pavlo Shysholin has said.
He noted that main participants in the experiment - border guards, customs officers and railway workers assured that they are actually ready for the start and implementation of the new technological scheme. For this, the personnel has been chosen and trained and modern technical control means purchased, able to read biometric data.
The new technology will provide for drawing up train Kyiv-Moscow on the first platform of the Kyiv-Passenger station, and Moscow-Kyiv - on the road from the Darnytsia station to the Kyiv-Passenger station. To speed up the procedure, the documents for the right to cross the border jointly with a ticket will be checked on the entrance to the coach.
As specialists noted, there are no substantial problems with carrying out the experiment. The control bodies will have the necessary premises, as well as an access to the video monitoring system of the terminal and in trains - to ensure the regime. Passengers will be additionally informed about mechanisms of passing the border-customs control and preparation of the necessary documents.
