As was disclosed by Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko, Ukraine intends to build a plant producing nuclear fuel in the city of Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region, National radio reported.
He also reminded that our country is also planning to buy some shares of one of the uranium enrichment plants in Russia. The ultimate goal is to create the country's coordinated system of nuclear fuel for NPPs. Russian nuclear fuel producer TVEL is negotiating with banks to ensure financing of the construction of a plant producing nuclear fuel in Ukraine.
