Ukraine will implement all the agreements reached during the EU-Ukraine summit. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin during his meeting with heads of the diplomatic missions of EU member states accredited in Ukraine, according to the Foreign Ministry press service.

Klimkin welcomed the presentation at the Summit of the Plan of Action for the introduction of visa-free short-term travels of citizens of Ukraine to the EU, and reiterated readiness of the Ukrainian side for its proper implementation.

He also marked the beginning of the development by ministries and departments of a comprehensive program to implement the Action Plan, defining the specific activities, the timing of implementation and funding levels, UKRINFORM reported.

The Deputy Minister pointed out the willingness of the parties expressed during the summit to maintain the proper dynamics of the negotiation process to conclude an association agreement, including establishment of a free trade zone. In this context, the need was expressed for the parties to take compromise and mutually acceptable decisions on the conditions of the future free trade zone functioning, including in the next round of talks, which will be held in Brussels on December 6-10.

Heads of the diplomatic missions of European countries were also informed of the agreements reached at the summit on deepening sectoral integration between Ukraine and the EU, especially in the energy sector.

The Deputy Minister thanked the EU for supporting the recent decision by the OSCE on presidency of Ukraine in this prestigious organization in 2013.
