Ukraine's WBC heavyweight champion Vitaliy Klychko won bout vs American Shannon Briggs. "I am the strongest boxer in the world," the winner told reporters after the fight.
"I am very happy to have won.
Briggs was tough, he is a real man. I could not believe he was still
standing after taking so many punches," Vitaliy Klychko said. He also
expressed disappointment in not being able to close the show, but
reached a point where he was still content with the level of dominance
exuded over all twelve rounds.
Vitaliy Klychko defended his WBC heavyweight title with a comprehensive points victory (120-105 by all three judges) over Shannon Briggs in Hamburg after a 12-round fight.
