Ukrainians have estimated the level of democracy in their country at "3" on a five-point scale, according to a national survey conducted by the Razumkov Center pollster in early October, UKRINFORM reported.

According to the survey, 7.2% of respondents believe that Ukraine achieved complete democracy (5 points), 5.9% are sure that a dictatorship is being established in the country (1 point). Some 20% of those polled estimated the level of democracy in Ukraine at '2,' 34.4% at '3' and 23.5% at '4.' The average estimate is 3.07.

Some 9% of respondents were undecided.

Director of the Razumkov Center Andriy Bychenko noted that the average estimate of the level of democracy in Ukraine stood at 3.46 in May 2010.

The survey was conducted in all regions in the country September 30 through October 5. Some 2,007 people were interviewed, and the poll's margin of error is 2.3%.
