Ukraine will use the Estonian experience in implementing reforms, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during a working lunch involving the Speaker of the Estonian Parliament, Ms. Ene Ergma, held as part the official visit of the Ukrainian Prime Minister to the Republic of Estonia, according to UKRINFORM.

Azarov stressed that Estonia has made a significant step into the 'European family' and for 20 years has carried out radical reforms in the country. "We want to repeat this way: you got rid of the chaos, reached stability. We are bitter of how much our country has lost over 20 years. Therefore, we are committed to reforms and will use the Estonian experience," the Ukrainian premier emphasized. He added that Ukraine is particularly interested in studying Estonia's experience in implementing e-government and tax reform. According to Azarov, to upgrade the Ukrainian economy we need 10 years to attract one USD 1 trillion.

The head of government noted that Ukraine is creating the most attractive investment climate in Europe, and invited the Estonian business to invest in our country. In particular, the promising sectors for cooperation, according to the prime minister, are energy, transport industry, high technology and information. Azarov voiced confidence that it is necessary to increase the volume of trade and economic cooperation between our countries. "The volume of our trade and economic cooperation makes nearly USD 0.5 billion. There are prospects that it was much more," the prime minister underlined.

In turn, the speaker of the Estonian Parliament said that the visit of Ukrainian Prime Minister is taking place for the first time in 14 years. According Ene Ergma, Estonia is set to develop bilateral cooperation with Ukraine: "We have good relations, especially in the economy. We have something to develop".
