President demands automatic VAT refunds to honest taxpayers

The state must introduce automatic VAT refunds to honest taxpayers, President Viktor Yanukovych said at today’s field meeting of the Council of Regions in Bucha, Kyiv region.

"Conscientious taxpayers should receive it automatically. Stop playing games. Why do I hear only twaddle so far? VAT must be refunded to honest taxpayers where we know there are no problems. And where there are problems – please investigate. We must not make gifts to anyone," Viktor Yanukovych said, referring to Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and State Tax Administration Chairman Oleksandr Papaika.
