The political party "Our Ukraine" is not going to join the current parliamentary coalition [the Party of Regions, Bloc of Lytvyn and Communist Party - ed.] and is not holding any negotiations on this issue, the head of the political council of the Our Ukraine party, Vira Ulyanchenko, said commenting on statements by some politicians about opposition Our Ukraine's plans to join the coalition, according to the party press service, UKRINFORM reported.

Ulyanchenko expressed confidence that the current efforts of all members of the party should be directed to defending fundamental for all patriots of Ukraine values and ideas - the unity of the Ukrainian nation, territorial integrity and sovereignty, preserving the Euro-Atlantic choice and democratic achievements of the last five years. "We are confident that such a position is in line with the interests of Ukraine," Ulyanchenko stressed.

She denied reports about a meeting of Viktor Yushchenko with Viktor Yanukovych for allegedly discussing the prospects of Our Ukraine's joining the coalition. "Such reports - this is a slander, it has nothing to do with reality," she underscored.

As UKRINFORM reported, a member of the Our Ukraine party Yuriy Yekhanurov earlier expressed a view that the party this autumn may join the parliamentary coalition instead of the Communist Party.
