Education and Science Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk announced the intention of the Ministry to rename the school course of foreign literature to the course of world literature.
Moreover, among the world literature Russian literature will occupy the largest place, three-quarters of the educational process, the Minister told the Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine publication, UKRINFORM reported.
According to him, the inclusion of Russian literature in the foreign literature course earlier "put up certain barriers". Now the new authorities see as "a priority of the Ministry" to return Russian literature to school in its original language.
