The Government approved a plan of priority measures on Ukraine's integration into the EU in 2010, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Tihipko told the press Wednesday, UKRINFORM reports.

"Ukraine has several programs for European integration, going almost in parallel. We are working out a partnership agreement, which will provide for a free trade zone, and we must draft this agreement before the end of the year. We are also working out an agreement on visa-free regime," he said.

The Vice Prime Minister also added that Ukraine is drafting an agreement with the EU on various sectoral areas, such as sanitary, phytosanitary, technical regulation, and energy.

He stressed that for harmonizing the actions of various ministries and departments to develop these documents, an action plan for Ukraine's integration into the EU was created for 2010.
