The opposition is planning to meet Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who arrives in Kyiv on Monday, with protests.

The Ukrainian Svoboda (Freedom) Association will picket all regional state administrations as a sign of protest against the pro-Russian policies of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, UKRINFORM reports.

Svoboda, which, along with the For Ukraine! Party, was banned by a court from holding rallies on Kyiv's central squares, will hold protests on the Sofiyska Square in order to prevent the signing during Medvedev's visit of the agreements restricting, according to Svoboda, the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine and causing damage to its economic security.
