Batkivshchyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko is convinced that the
international community can’t support the actions by President Viktor
Yanukovych curtailing democracy and civil liberties.
"If you hear talk about the international community supporting Yanukovych – don’t believe it, it’s being said by controlled channels. The international community will never support the destruction of democracy, freedom of speech and the Constitution," Yulia Tymoshenko told her supporters during a rally by the Verkhovna Rada, BYuT press office reported.
In her opinion, the international community’s alleged support for Viktor Yanukovych is the result of manipulation of information by media outlet owners.
"The world does not support Yanukovych. All the articles written in the foreign press are translated in favor of Yanukovych. It’s manipulation," explained Yulia Tymoshenko.
