"Today we see that there are several traitors, but 150 people are standing strong. And even if there are several more political crises, the entire team that has been selected will continue to handle the punch. We have to realize the mistakes that were made in selecting personnel, but we much also see the team that we put together over all these years," Yulia Tymoshenko said, according to the BYuT press office.
According to her, the deputies that joined the coalition were bribed with money or jobs and betrayed their principles. "There is no way to test if a person has honor and a conscience until they are actually faced with this challenge," said the opposition leader.
Meanwhile, Yulia Tymoshenko recalled that the Constitutional Court also had a hand in the formation of the illegal parliamentary majority. "This is a court that Yanukovych essentially ruined through intimidation and bribery. The court issued a decision that is diametrically opposite to its decision from a year ago. And in doing so they sanctioned illegal actions, corruption in parliament, bribery of deputies, and this has resulted in the fact that parliament is controlled by a majority of tushky," said the leader of the united opposition.
As for deputies that entered parliament on the BYuT list and switched to the coalition, Yulia Tymoshenko believes their actions are illegal and shameful. "These are people who went against the Constitution and joined a majority that is illogical for our team. Our team’s participation in this majority is unacceptable," she said.
