Ukrainian Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych has said that the president postponed the enactment of a package of anti-corruption laws due to their imperfection.

He said that under these laws, holding more than one job could be qualified as corruption, UKRINFORM reported.

Lavrynovych said that a new package of anti-corruption laws, in which the drawbacks of the previous package will be removed, would be drawn up within two months and that the president would then submit it for consideration by parliament.

As reported, President Viktor Yanukovych on March 29 signed a law postponing the enactment of a package of anti-corruption laws from April 1, 2010 until January 1, 2011. The parliament adopted the laws on June 11, 2009.
